Hogwords was devised and curated by Joan McGavin to introduce seven of Hampshire's leading poets at the inaugural Winchester Poetry Festival in 2014.
The authors, ranging from the emerging to the established, were each invited to include in their selection a poem in celebration of Hampshire, collected here for the first time.
The book includes poems by Robyn Bolam, Stephen Boyce, John Haynes, Joan McGavin, Nick MacKinnon, Maggie Sawkins and Julian Stannard.
